Research & Education

Research Collaboration

Kenney Orthopedics is a research partner with Jason T. Kahle, MSMS, CPO, FAAOP who has been managing and publishing prosthetic and amputee research for over 15 years.  This means that we will have exciting opportunities to try new sockets, knees and feet through research trials set-up by Mr. Kahle and his group.  This helps build the subject base for important research opportunities, which will ultimately help amputees in Indiana, Kentucky, and North Carolina to participate in these unique opportunities.

Outcome Measures CEC

Evidence based practice is the integration of clinical expertise or expert opinion, external scientific evidence, and patient perspectives to provide high-quality services reflecting the interests, values, needs, and choices of the individuals we serve. Understanding how to gather evidence is the first step for the clinic, these are called outcome measures. Through the research and education agenda of Kenney Orthopedics, we sponsored Jason T. Kahle, MSMS, CPO, FAAOP to come to Kentucky and Indiana to present continuing education courses to local therapists on outcome measures.
