  • Postoperative Residual Limb Shrinkers  - compression garment, sock or liner designed to reduce edema

If possible, we like to deliver shrinkers to the patient before surgery.  This is used by the doctor to reduce swelling or inflamation and to promote healing.  If it is not possible to deliver the shrinkers before surgery we would like to get them to the patient as soon as possible so that we can expedite the healing process.  This allows the patient to get their prosthesis and start physical therapy sooner, so they aren't delayed.

  • Syme's Prostheses -  amputation of the lower limb at the ankle joint
